John's poem for Lucy
In Dublin's gentle cold, we found our way,
Hand in hand, with coffee's warmth to share.
Our hearts, synchronized and bold,
In every gust of Irish air.
Tinder's virtual spark, where it began,
A stumble with fate, when your phone went astray.
But destiny had other plans for us,
In Social, with LIIT, we found the words to say.
Your kindness, like a beacon warm,
Guiding me through life's unsure waves.
In your love, I am secure and free,
A safe harbor, where my heart behaves.
We run through mixed terrains, those miles we chase,
And together, finish lines are but a start.
In every stride, your motivation lifts,
As we push onward, heart to heart.
Lucy, my love, my laughter's source,
With you, the future gleams so bright.
In all of time, I'll hold you close,
As we grow old beyond the night.
