Dalton's poem for Nancy
Oh Nancy, my heart's delight, my love so true,
In college halls where whispers danced and played,
We stole sweet moments, just us two,
In secret car embraces, our love displayed
With every stolen kiss beneath the stars,
We dreamt of days when we could freely roam,
Now hand in hand, we'll journey near and far,
Creating a life, together, our true home.
As time unfolds, and silver threads appear.
We'll cherish each laugh, each tear, each sigh.
In love's warm embrace, we'll conquer fear,
Growing old together, just you and I
